When planning to board the cruise, it’s important to know a few things:

  • The cruise is a 7-deck, 131-meter-long vessel, built in Japan.
  • It’s the first luxury cruise in India, registered under the DG Shipping of India as a Class 4 RSVP (River Sea Passenger Vessel).
  • An experienced team of 25 marine personnel and 60 hospitality personnel are available 24 hours a day to ensure a wonderful sailing experience.
  • The cruise was named after the great Angria Bank coral reef located near Vijaydurg, Maharashtra, and the first Maratha Navy Admiral Kanhoji Angre, in his honor.
  • The cruise service is a joint venture between Mumbai Port Trust and Angriya Sea Eagle Pvt Ltd.

Angriya

The luxury cruise has 104 rooms. The ship offers a variety of rooms at different prices, including luxury suites, premium rooms, buddy rooms, and many more.

The ship features six bars, two restaurants, a swimming pool, a dance hall, reading rooms, and more. If you’re tired and want a relaxing massage, head to the luxurious spa rooms.

The staff is ready to provide you with important historical facts and guide you during your voyage.

Currently, the ship does not provide Wi-Fi to passengers.

Designated areas are provided for smokers to enjoy during the sail.

Cruise price The cost of your stay depends on the type of room you choose. The minimum cost is INR 850 per person for a one-way trip, which includes accommodation without windows and an attached washroom.

If you opt for bunkrooms, sharing with four fellow passengers on your trip, such rooms start at INR 7700. These rooms do not have attached washrooms but meet your other requirements. The large window offers a wide view of the breathtaking sea.

The cruise also caters to couples, offering a variety of options for them to enjoy their trip. The basic price for such a room starts at INR 7650.

Here’s what you can bring with you:

  • You are allowed to bring 25 kgs of baggage and 10 kg of cabin baggage per person.
  • Children below the age of 12 years are allowed to carry 25 kg on board.
  • Pets are strictly prohibited on the ship.
  • For safety reasons, women who are more than 6 months pregnant are not allowed on this tour.
  • Infants below the age of 6 months are also restricted.

Unfortunately, the cruise does not currently have special facilities for people with disabilities. The cruise lacks disability-friendly features like an elevator or special toilets. The facilities for the pool, bars, and restaurants are on different levels, so it could be challenging for them to access them.

The cruise does not have any medical experts on board. Passengers are advised to bring their basic medicines. Sealed syrup bottles are allowed in their cabin baggage.

The entire crew is trained to provide passengers with first aid.

Cruise timing:

The cruise departs from the Mumbai Port at 5 pm sharp and arrives at the final destination at 9 pm the next morning. The cruise sails along the Konkan coastline and returns to Mumbai Port every alternate day.
