Airasia resume Flights between India and Malaysia and Thailand

AirAsia, a Malaysian international low-cost airline Wednesday announced it would begin international flight operations in the region of India and Malaysia, and Thailand in April, with flights launching during April/May. This announcement comes following India resumed regular international flight operations on the 27th of March following a two-year suspension because of coronavirus.

AirAsia in its press release stated that its scheduled service with Malaysia, as well as the six Indian destinations, will resume gradually in April 2022. Moreover, AirAsia has a plan to return flight service to Thailand from five Indian cities from May 2022.

Based on the information provided by Airline, the company will begin with six new routes starting from India to Malaysia which include:

  • Bengaluru to Kuala Lumpur from April 01
  • Chennai to Kuala Lumpur from April 1
  • Tiruchirappalli to Kuala Lumpur from April 5
  • Kochi to Kuala Lumpur from April 18
  • Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur from April 23
  • Hyderabad to Kuala Lumpur from May 1

The airline will also launch five new routes connecting India to Thailand which include;

  • Bengaluru-Bangkok (Don Mueang) commenced on May 4
  • Chennai-Bangkok (Don Mueang) on May 4
  • Bangkok-Kolkata (Don Mueang) starting May 2
  • Kochi-Bangkok (Don Mueang) starting May 1
  • Jaipur-Bangkok (Don Mueang) starting May 1

Travelers can also enjoy 20% off All Seats for all flights when they make reservations between the 4th and 9th of April and travel dates between May 1 and March 25, 2023.
