Below is a detailed itinerary for a 16-day trip to India.

Embark on an epic journey through India's iconic destinations with this 16-day itinerary. Your adventure begins in the bustling city of New Delhi, where you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and history of India's capital city. Discover the famous landmarks of Delhi, such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Humayun's Tomb.

Next, venture to Agra, where the magnificent Taj Mahal awaits. Experience the grandeur of Fatehpur Sikri, explore the rural village of Abhaneri, and make your way to the pink city of Jaipur, where you'll be charmed by the city's regal palaces and bustling bazaars.

Take a flight to Varanasi, one of the oldest and most spiritual cities in the world, where you'll witness the mesmerizing Aarti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges. Explore the narrow alleys and hidden temples of the city, and soak up the spiritual atmosphere.

From Varanasi, fly to Dehradun and make your way to the tranquil city of Rishikesh, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Here, you'll have ample time to indulge in yoga, meditation, and adventure sports, or simply unwind and connect with nature.

Next, journey to Dharamshala, home to the exiled Tibetan community and the Dalai Lama. Explore the quaint town, visit the stunning Norbulingka Institute, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrive in Delhi

Upon arrival at the New Delhi International Airport, our representative will greet you and provide all necessary documents for your trip.

You will then be transferred to your hotel for accommodation.

Day 2 :New Delhi

After breakfast, you will spend the day exploring the historic city of Old Delhi and the modern city of New Delhi.

You will visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk market. You will also take photos at India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan (presidential house) and visit Gandhi Smriti.

Finally, you will visit Qutub Minar and the tomb of Humayun before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3 :New Delhi – Agra (200 Km / 04 hours)

After breakfast, you will drive to Agra and check in to your hotel upon arrival.

In the late afternoon, you will visit the Red Fort and the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula.

The highlight of the day will be visiting the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

You will return to your hotel for the night.

Day 4 :Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri Village – Jaipur (270 Km / 05 hours)

You will proceed towards Jaipur with a stop at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri.

You will then explore Abhaneri Village, famous for its stepwell.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will be transferred to your hotel for accommodation.

Day 5 :Jaipur City Tour

After breakfast, you will first visit the Amber Fort by riding an elephant or a Jeep. Later, you will explore the City Palace and Jantar Mantar.

In the evening, you can opt for dinner at Narain Niwas Palace with a traditional folkloric dance performance. You will spend the night at your hotel.

Day 6 :Jaipur – Varanasi (By flight)

In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Varanasi.

Upon arrival, you will be received and transferred to your hotel.

You will have free time in the afternoon before spending the night at your hotel.

Day 7 :Varanasi

Early in the morning, you will embark on a boat cruise of the Mother Ganges at the Ghats of Varanasi.

After breakfast, you will visit various religious temples in the city, culminating in attending the Aarti ceremony of the Mother Ganges at the Ghats.

You will spend the night at your hotel.

Day 8 :Varanasi – Dehradun (by flight) – Rishikesh (50 Km/ 01 hour)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dehradun, with a connecting flight via Delhi.

Upon arrival in Dehradun, you will be received and transferred to an Ashram for accommodation.

Day 9-10 :Rishikesh

You will spend these days engaging in daily activities of yoga and meditation at the Ashram.

Day 11 :Rishikesh – New Delhi (by train)

After breakfast, you will visit the temples of Rishikesh and Haridwar in the morning.

In the late afternoon, you will take a train to New Delhi, where you will be transferred to your hotel for accommodation.

Day 12 :New Delhi – Dharamshala (by flight)

After breakfast, you will take a flight to Dharamshala, and upon arrival, we will be transferred to the hotel.

We will then have free time in the late afternoon to explore the city. Overnight accommodation will be provided at the hotel.

Day 13 :Dharamshala

This day is dedicated to visiting the monasteries in Dharamshala, which is known for its strong Tibetan presence. The city is home to the Dalai Lama and has a significant number of Tibetan refugees.

We will visit the Namgyal Monastery, Gyuto Monastery, and Norbulingka Institute, which is dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture and handicrafts. Here, we can see traditional Tibetan art and craft being made by local artisans.

Accommodation will be in a hotel.

Day 14 :Dharamshala – Amritsar (200 Km / 05 hours)

After breakfast, we will proceed towards Amritsar, which is a holy city for Sikhs. Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel.

In the evening, we will visit the Golden Temple, which is the most important Sikh temple in the world.

We will also visit Langar Hall, which is a community kitchen that serves food to thousands of people every day, regardless of their religion, caste, or social status.

Accommodation will be in a hotel.

Day 15 :Amritsar

After breakfast, we will visit the Jallianwala Bagh, which is a public garden that is now a memorial to the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. This was a tragic event in Indian history, where British soldiers opened fire on a peaceful gathering of Indians.

Later in the evening, we will witness the Wagah Border Ceremony, which is a military ceremony that takes place at the India-Pakistan border. The ceremony involves a display of patriotism and a lowering of the flags of both countries.

Accommodation will be in a hotel.

Day 16 :Amritsar – New Delhi (by flight) – onwards journey

In the morning, we will proceed to the airport for our flight to New Delhi.

Upon arrival, you can continue your journey by direct flight to your country.
