Velsao Beach Goa

Velsao Beach is on the southern coast of Goa, 25 km from Panaji. It is an amazing beach that extends 20 km from Mobur to Betul beach and close to other famous beaches like, Mojorda beach and Colva beach to the South, and Bogmalo beach to the North. It is a fantastic beautiful beach filled with white sand, which makes it perfect for sunbathing, and is surrounded by coconut trees that give a cool breeze. 

Boating is famous at this place. Tourists are also seen doing fishing here. Those who are interested in site seeing can visit few churches in their proximity. ‘The Velsao Chapel’ is located on a hilltop, 15kms away from the beach, and is one of the famous churches.

The major specialty of this beach is that this place is filled with visitors to enjoy “The feast of Three Kings”, which is celebrated annually in January.
