Chitra Museum Goa

Goa Chitra Museum is an old age build museum to showcase the variety of generations in one place. It has a variety of farming tools and equipment that was said to be contributing to organic farming.

In the beginning, the museum had a collection of over 200 especially collected items, but now it has over 4000 varieties of objects and tools on display. It has artefacts that showcase the real culture of ancient Goa. 

It is said that, while collecting all the ancient artefacts the minute details about the same were gathered by the local people around. In the museum, tourists can witness the beautiful presentation of artefacts with an elaborative explanation. 

The museum aims to achieve the influencing the people towards the unique history and culture of Goa. Therefore, tourist not only witness’s agricultural equipment but also other household items, tools that were excavated and found out.
