Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary Goa

When in Goa, the only attraction one seems to be getting is the beautiful golden and white beaches. But apart from the serene beaches of Goa, it has this amazing sanctuary in CanaconaTalika, South Goa.

It builds back in 1965 to secure the vast stretch of woodland on the Goa- Karnataka border. This place is home to several animal species such as Gazelles, Porcupines, Panthers, and birds.

Visitors not only get to enjoy the wildlife here but also encounter several rare old trees and vegetation. The area stretches approximately 86 sq. km.

Apart from animals, this land is also home to tribal groups like the Velip and Kunbil, who are very friendly with visitors and accept them wholeheartedly.

Tourists can also enjoy staying inside the sanctuary. The sanctuary provides an accommodation facility to their visitors, but that costs separate.

Entry Fee: Rs5 (per person) and Rs.25 (For Cameras)
