Rajasthan Tourism Begins a 3-day Shekhawati Festival

Three days of the Shekhawati Festival has taken off in Rajasthan which will take you through the diverse tradition of the culture of the state. It is organized through the Rajasthan Tourism Department in Lakshmangarh the festival is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to discover the state and its rich heritage.

Visitors can look forward to activities in the arts, crafts, and sporting activities during the celebration. Gayatri Rathore is the Principal Secretary. made a statement saying “The Shekhawati region has an old-fashioned opulence, breathtaking landscapes and awe-inspiring. The three-day festival lets people explore the rich culture of Rajasthan and its cuisine arts and crafts as well as the gorgeous arts of folk, Kavi Sammelan and serenading evenings.”

The Shekhawati region in Rajasthan is a historic region that includes four districts: Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur, and Churu. The most notable feature of the region is its magnificent grand Havelis. They are beautifully decorated with murals painted in paint. The structures in this area are said to have been built sometime between the 18th century through the mid 20th century.

It is a must to visit The Shahpura Haveli, which is an ancient palace constructed by the famous Rao Pratap Singh along with a host of other incredible structures. Going into the Shekhawati region and looking at these gorgeous Havelis, make you feel as if you’re in a fantasy.

Three days of the Shekhawati festival will feature prominent folk artists, such as Bhungar Khan and Sarwar Khan from The Manganiyar community.
