India First Neo Metro to Connect Uttarakhand Cities, Drone-Assisted Survey Planned

India is set to witness a remarkable advancement in urban transportation with the launch of its first Neo Metro Project. This project aims to link three cities in Uttarakhand – Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh – by 2024, significantly easing traffic in these areas.

IG Drones, a leader in drone technology and analysis, has won the contract to survey the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) corridor, a crucial part of this new system. The Uttarakhand Government’s initiative is set to introduce a state-of-the-art transit solution, particularly designed for the challenging landscapes of these cities.

Integrated with the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS), the PRT corridor promises a seamless connection between Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun. IG Drones will use advanced drone technology to create a Detailed Project Report (DPR), aiding in the efficient management and tracking of the project’s progress.

IG Drones’ advanced sensors will capture high-quality images, videos, and vital ground data. This information, processed through their unique software IG One, will provide in-depth technical insights and analytics. Such technology is crucial for continuously monitoring the project, ensuring timely completion, safety, and security.

Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, the Founder and CEO of IG Drones, shared his excitement about the project, emphasizing the challenge and importance of surveying a metro rail project in tough terrains. He stressed the company’s commitment to offering detailed technical insights, assisting in real-time tracking, and maintaining high safety standards.

IG Drones has already made a mark in the drone industry, notably launching India’s first 5G drone, Skyhawk. The company’s innovative approach is evident in its diverse applications across various sectors, including border surveillance, healthcare, and defence. With its recent involvement in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, IG Drones play a crucial role in shaping India’s infrastructure landscape.
