Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrive in Delhi

As you reach India, you are welcomed by a Tusk Travel tour representative who will be assisting with your hotel check-in.

After getting the full information about your India trip, you will get into the hotel and enjoy some free time by yourself to balance with the new time zone.

Day 2 :Delhi Sightseeing

Start your second day with the walled city of Old Delhi discovered by the Mughal Emperor named Shah Jahan. Then move on along the winding streets to reach Jama Masjid which is the well-known and largest mosque in the nation.

Take a ride through the cycle rickshaw along the lanes of Chandni Chowk which was once known as the imperial place of Mughal royalty. Then visit the Sikh Temple, Parliament House, and the famous Presidential Palace.

Have fun exploring the Gandhi Smriti which is regarded as the official residence of Mahatma Gandhi. The trip continues with an exploration of Humayun’s Tomb held around striking gardens, nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to hotel for night stay.

Day 3 :New Delhi - Jaipur (265 km / 05 hours)

After morning breakfast, move out of the hotel. Proceed to Jaipur where you can find stucco buildings interlining the huge streets and you will get to know why it is called “Pink City”. In the year 1876, this city was painted with a special colour to celebrate the exploration of the Prince of Wales.

Then make a ride-along with the striking hilltop forts and famous palaces while moving along the bargain-filled market. When you reach there, move into the hotel. The remaining day is free for your activities.

Day 4 :Jaipur Sightseeing

On this day, take a short trip to the famous Amber Fort, a great combination of Hindu and Mughal styles covering the beautiful Palace of Mirrors. Climb up the hill to the defensive walls by Elephant.

Get magnificent views of the original city walls of Jaipur and the lake below. Enjoy shopping for the great collections of Jaipur handicrafts providing high-quality handmade carpets, pashminas, textiles, and paintings.

Then proceed to the 18th-century Jantar Mantar Observatory and move on to the ancient Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of Winds”. Then, the journey continues to the palatial City Palace which was earlier a royal residence and now is a grand museum including a great collection of costumes, miniature paintings, and armoury. Move back to the hotel.

Day 5 :Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (265 km/5.5 hrs)

This day morning, have breakfast at the hotel. On the way, explore the famous Fatehpur Sikri.

Then, move on to Agra. The city of Agra is the chief tourist spot due to its innumerable Mughal-era buildings, the most popular ones are the Taj Mahal, and Agra Fort which all are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The remaining day is free for refreshment and enjoying your tasks.

Day 6 :Agra – Delhi (200 km/4.5 hrs)

After morning breakfast, proceed to explore the striking Taj Mahal, erected by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. As this structure is made up of white marble and valuable stones over 22 years of time, it is regarded as a great example of Mughal architecture.

During the afternoon time, take part in the important trip to the red sandstone Agra Fort along with its unbelievable maze of walled courtyards, lavish private chambers, and mosques. It is regarded as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On arriving in Delhi, get into the hotel and enjoy the evening's free time.

Day 7 :Delhi – Haridwar (230 km/ 5hrs)

On the 7th day, after having morning breakfast, travel to Haridwar.

On reaching, visit the famous temples of Haridwar in Uttarakhand.

Check out the famous Chandi Devi and Bharat Mata Temple and the Mansa Devi Temple.

In the evening, explore Har-ki-Pauri to get great views of the holy Ganges Aarti. Make night stay at the hotel.

Day 8 :Haridwar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (30 km/ 50 min)/one way

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Rishikesh. On reaching there, explore Ram Jhula which is the suspension bridge of over 750 feet across the Ganges River that joins Sivananda Ashram to Gita Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan, and other sacred places.

Also explore the holy Triveni Ghat which is the junction of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. In the evening, you can view the ‘Maha Aarti’ devoted to the goddess Ganga. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9 :Haridwar - New Delhi - Your Country

On the final day of the tour, have a sumptuous breakfast and check out of the hotel to reach Delhi.
