Nature lovers and travelers, here’s some good news for you! To increase tourism in Sariska Tiger Reserve, one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, more safari areas are likely to be created.

A report from ToI indicates that soon travelers will be able to visit new safari areas in the area, as per the state forest department. There is an opportunity to explore more of its area in the coming days since only about five percent of its current area is open to tourists.

According to ToI, R N Meena, head of the Sariska Tiger Reserve’s Conservator of Forests, “We will soon present new routes for development to the local advisory committee. An official from the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) also approved new routes in principle during the recent visit. Before we open safari routes, we have developed monitoring routes.”

Sariska (Rajasthan) is situated in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, and it offers wildlife experiences that you will not want to miss!

Sariska National Park is a great place to spot big cats during a weekend getaway with your family and friends. Tigers are found in the areas within the park that do not have safari zones.

Alwar Sariska tiger reserve is only two hours away from Jaipur, this place offers stunning architectural and natural attractions. A total of six ranges are found here. An adventurous wildlife safari will provide the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Sariska, which is dominated by sharp cliffs and narrow valleys.
