Pari Mahal Srinagar, Kashmir

'Pari Mahal' means the palace of the fairies. A visitor will automatically be excited to visit such a place. Pari Mahal, a seven terraced garden, has been built by the Mughal prince Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, in the 1640s. The Mughal prince was mesmerized by the beauty of Kashmir; that's why he built the Mahal at the hilltop of the Zabarwan mountain range

The palace's height and position make it possible to glance at the city of Srinagar and the southwest part of Dal Lake. Tourist's main attraction is the landscape from the court.

The interior of the garden is also stunningly well decorated. While the monument shows the traditional Islamic architecture, various kinds of flowers and plants beautify the palace's interior.

Apart from the landscape and the ruins, these indigenous and exotic flowers and fruit vegetation are the reasons for large-scale visitors.
