PM Modi flagged off 8 Trains to connecting Statue of Unity across India

On 16^th January 2021, PM Modi flagged off eight trains that will be connecting major destinations in various states of the country along with the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The whole event was done through video conferencing mode. Now let us have the names of the eight best trains.

1. 09103/04 Mahamana Express (Weekly, Kevadiya – Varanasi)

2. 02927/28 Dadar-Kevadiya Express (Daily, Dadar – Kevadiya)

3. 09247/48 Janshatabdi Express (Daily, Ahmedabad – Kevadiya)

4. 09145/46 Nizamuddin-Kevadia Sampark Kranti Express (Bi-weekly, Kevadiya – H. Nizamuddin)

5. 09145/46 Kevadia-Rewa Express (Weekly, Kevadiya – Rewa)

6. 09119/20 Chennai-Kevadia Express (Weekly, Chennai – Kevadiya)

7. 09107/08 MEMU train (Daily, Pratapnagar – Kevadiya)

8. 09109/10 MEMU train (Daily, Kevadiya – Pratapnagar)

What will be the best benefits of availing these trains?

PM Modi addressed that this train can prove to be beneficial for those who are willing to visit the Statue of Unity. It will also help the visitors to know about the tribal community of this state. It is said to be a wonderful invention. This connectivity is also going to generate good job opportunities before the people.

During the programme tomorrow, other projects relating to the railways will also be inaugurated. This includes new station buildings of Dabhoi, Chandod and Kevadia.

One of the trains that were flagged off from Kevadia originates from Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MG Ramachandran Railway Station. I will also be glad to know that today was the birth anniversary of this great personality. It was a great day.

Apart from this, PM Modi also announced some of the other important Railway projects. The eight connectivity of the railway project includes Dhabod-Chandod-Kevadiya. This invention will bring good progress to the whole state.
