Travellers from India who are fully vaccinated Now, he can travel to Sri Lanka. According to reports, anyone traveling from India, who has completed both doses of either the Covaxin or Covishield vaccine, will be permitted entry into the country.

As per the latest travel rule, those who are partially vaccinated or non-vaccinated will not be permitted.

It has been reported that those arriving from India, with recovered COVID-19 symptoms and one dose of vaccine, are required to present proof of recovery in an English document within 28 to 90 days of arrival in Sri Lanka.

They will only be permitted entry if they can demonstrate that they have had at least one dose of the AstraZeneca/ Pfizer BioNTech/ Moderna/ Johnson and Johnson vaccine or A vaccination course should be clearly indicated on the vaccination certificate following a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine or any other vaccine recommended for one dose.

Before boarding the flight, travelers should have a valid tourist visa. A visa can be obtained by applying on eta.gov.lk.

Be sure, however, that you have a pre-paid booking at an ‘L1 Safe and Secure’ three-star or above hotel for the first two days before the on-arrival PCR test is conducted before you apply for the visa.

After receiving a negative report, travelers will be allowed to leave the bio-bubble.

As part of the COVID-19 process, passengers must also obtain local travel insurance, as well as take an RT-PCR test on arrival. Infants under the age of two are exempt from the test unless their parents develop COVID symptoms or test positive for COVID.
