Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. Upon arrival meet Tusk Travel representative with a heartwarming greeting, “Ayubowan!” (May You Live Long!). Later proceed to the hotel at Negombo. A vibrant coastal city, Negombo is a major urban city situated in the mouth of the Western province, on the West Coast, and in the Negombo lagoon. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure.

After breakfast proceeds to Anuradhapura. Taking you back in time -to Sri Lanka’s First Capital.
The heart of Sri Lanka’s majestic civilization enriched with Buddhism, exquisite sculpture, magnificent feats of architecture and hydraulic sophistication depicted by the cluster of reservoirs and irrigation channels- all reminiscent of the grandeur of a bygone era founded in the 5th Century BC and self- sustained in the decades afterward.

The morning after breakfast visit Mihinthale - which is one of the sixteen sacred sites in Sri Lanka according to Buddhism and can be known to the cradle of Buddhist civilization in Sri Lanka. Mihintale holds immense importance in culture, history as well as archaeology.
Also visit The Ritigala Mountain - The reference in the Mahavamsa, the ancient chronicle and the Hindu epic Ramayanaya which is a wrecked piece of the Himalayan mountain go India that was brought by Hanuman. Later return back to the hotel.

The morning after breakfast drive to Polonnaruwa. On arrival visit the second most old of kingdoms, Polonnaruwa.

The morning after breakfast drive to Dambulla. En-route visit Sigiriya - Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the royal palace is situated in the core of the island between the towns of Dambulla and Habarane. The complex incorporates remainders of a demolished royal residence, encompassed by a broad system of fortresses, gardens, lakes, alleys, canals, and fountains. Post-visit continue to drive to Dambulla.
On arrival visit - Dambulla Cave Temple which is Sri Lanka's largest historic cave temple. The Dambulla rock is 330m high. It spreads on one side as a rock, and on the other, a mountain of wildlife. The cave temple is built in the area where the stone is spread.

The morning after breakfast drive to Kandy. Kandy is a noteworthy city in Sri Lanka situated in the Central Province. The city is in the middle of the Knuckles mountain run and the Hanthana Mountain Range. In the Kandy City Tour, the immaculacy is abundant.

After wash & change visit Temple of the Tooth building, Moat, The Octagon – Pattripuwa., Handun Kunama (inner sanctum), The Golden Canopy, The Temple of the Tooth Museum – New Palace, The Royal Palace, The National Museum of Kandy, International Buddhist Museum – Old Courts, Kandy Lake, Queens Bath, Diyathilaka Mandapaya.
Also, visit Kandy Lake - otherwise called Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is a man-made in the core of the slope city of Kandy. Later in the evening return back to the hotel.

The morning after breakfast drive to Galle - a UNESCO Heritage site.
Discovering the old and the new. Discovering people amidst a wonderful mix of architecture and culture. Taking a stroll down the old town with interesting street names would be like a walk down memory lane, reminiscing Ceylon in the Colonial days.
Portuguese constructed and Dutch fortified majestic Galle Fort and the landmarks within the premises such as the Galle National Museum depicting the history and the life of the Galle inhabitants; the Fort Library - the treasure trove of rare books; Galle Maritime Museum, heritage houses in the narrow alleys and the mixed bag of boutiques and shops in every nook and corner selling antiques, souvenirs, jewelry, arts and crafts; eateries and art galleries. Later check-in at hotel.

Following breakfast head to the turtle farm and hatchery. It is a non-profitable organization located as well as a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Later proceed to Colombo. Later in the evening visit the President’s House and Chatham Street Clock Tower, Old Dutch Hospital now converted to a shopping and dining complex, Galle Face Green, the colorful Pettah shopping Bazar, the Gangaramaya Temple housing Buddhist artifacts from all over the world, National Museum depicting Sri Lanka’s historical and cultural heritage, the Independence Memorial Hall designed in the typical style of a medieval Kandyan audience hall, the Independence Museum, and the iconic Town Hall Building. Evening free at leisure.
