Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrive in Colombo – Pinnawala - Anuradhapura

Meet your representative with a heartwarming greeting, “Ayubowan!” (May You Live Long!) at the International Airport, Colombo. Later proceed to Anuradhapura, Visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage, a home to the retired and orphaned Elephants. Later Proceed to Anuradhapura - First Capital of Sri Lanka in the 3rd Century BC and also a World Heritage Site. On arrive check in at hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Overnight: Anuradhapura

Day 2 :Anuradhapura – Sigiriya – Dambulla

Morning after breakfast visit Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest historically documented tree in the world, the Brazen Palace, Dagobas, Ruwanwelisaya, Abeygiri & Jetawana Monasteries, finely preserved rock-cut statues of Lord Buddha and ruins of palaces, Isurumuniya rock temple. Later proceed to Dambulla. Enroute visit the Sigiriya rock fortress – Lion rock and Frescoes of the Heavenly Maidens at Sigiriya. Arrive in Dambulla in the evening. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Overnight: Dambulla

Day 3 :Dambulla – Matale – Kandy

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast visits the Dambulla rock temple – The ancient caves and the tallest Buddha statue. Later proceed to Kandy via Matale to visit a famous spice garden. Later drive to Kandy. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Overnight: Kandy

Day 4 :Kandy – Peradeniya – Kandy

After breakfast visits the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Kandy Lake, Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy Town Bazaar, Arts and Crafts center, Visit to Gems museum and Lapidary. Enjoy the traditional Sri Lankan dance show in the evening. Later return to the hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Overnight: Kandy

Day 5 :Kandy – Hakgala – Nuwara Eliya

The morning after breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, en-route Hakgala & visit the Anjaneyar (Hanuman) temple of Ramayana Trail in Ramboda where you can witness footprints of Lord Hanuman, followed by a visit to the tea factory. Also visit the Sita Amman Temple – according to tradition, the site is associated with Sita of the Ramayana epic. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on a side of the temple. Next visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens Known as Ashok Vatika – one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana. Later drive to  Nuwara Eliya. On arrival check-in at the hotel.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya

Day 6 :Nuwara Eliya – Bentota

Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed to Bentota. Arrive in Bentota, a rural coastal town in Sri Lanka famous for its pristine sandy beaches. Bentota is home to the majestic marine turtle, lies at the finishing end of the ''Golden Mile'' from Colombo.  You can enjoy the boat ride in Bentota. – known as Paradise Island of Sri Lanka. Evening free at leisure.

Day 7 :Bentota

Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure in the beach/hotel.

Day 8 :Bentota – Kelaniya – Colombo departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Later check out & visit Turtle Hatchery in the morning. Then Proceed to Kelaniya by coach. Visit the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, a famous Buddha temple built in the 3rd century B.C. Also visit a shrine dedicated to Vibushana, king Ravana's brother, who allied with Rama in the struggle to rescue Sita.

Later proceed to Colombo, enjoy a city orientation tour of Colombo including 100 years old clock tower, Colonial buildings built by British, Hindu and Buddhist temple and the Bandaranaike Memorial International, Parliament House, Police Headquarters, President Palace. In the evening transfer to the airport to board on your homebound flight with happy memories of your tour with us.
