Delhi to Shimla Daily Flights Start from Today

Flights from Delhi to Shimla on a daily basis are all set to resume as soon as possible. In accordance with the latest developments, Alliance Air will begin its maiden Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) route Delhi-Shimla-Delhi today.

Besides Shimla, the airline will also expand its network in Himachal Pradesh to ease the travel of people to and from the state, according to a statement issued by the company.

According to Yash Vardhan Singh, Deputy Engineer of the airline, with the aim of connecting New India, they are making efforts to offer better air connectivity between Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns as well as between them and their closest city hubs, he stated. In addition, the airline informed us that the flight will be operated by ATR42-600 aircraft on a daily basis.

According to reports, the airline has announced that the introductory all-inclusive fare of the flight tickets on the said route will be INR 2141 and that the flight from Delhi to Shimla will operate at 7:10 AM in the morning, and the flight from Shimla to Delhi will operate at 8:50 AM in the morning.

According to airline authorities, this move is expected to enhance connectivity in the state, as well as boost the state’s a trade and tourism sectors. It was further stated by airline representatives that it would contribute to the economic growth of the state as well.
