Detailed Itinerary
On arrival in Cochin, transfer to Vembanad Lake to board the Oberoi Vrinda. The cruise begins along the main waterway of Vembanad before entering the scenic Alleppey canals. Meet local fishermen and learn about regional fish varieties, including Karimeen.
After a 4-hour cruise through Kerala’s backwaters, return to the Vembanad jetty by sunset. Enjoy a classical Kathakali performance onboard before dinner.
Overnight stay on the Oberoi Vrinda.
After breakfast, join guided local excursions to visit St. Mary’s Church, old temples and the historic Chambakulam Snake Boat Yard. Alternatively, take a traditional rice boat ride to see Karumadi village and the ancient Buddha statue site.
Return to the Oberoi Vrinda in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a graceful Mohiniyattam performance onboard.
Dinner and overnight stay on the cruise.
After breakfast, the Oberoi Vrinda sails along the northern and southern stretches of Vembanad Lake. The cruise ends at Pallathuruthy jetty.
Check out at 10 AM and transfer back to Cochin for onward travel.

- Sightseeing may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, local restrictions or monument closures.

- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The balance is payable 15 days before the tour or upon arrival in India, if agreed in advance.
- Payments must be made using the official bank or secure payment details provided by Tusk Travel.
- International transfer, card-processing and currency-conversion charges are payable by the traveller.
- 60 days or more before arrival: 10% cancellation charge.
- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.
- 29–15 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
- 14–8 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Issued flight, train, permit and special-event bookings may be non-refundable.
