About The Motor Vessel of the Oberoi Vrinda
It is the Oberoi Vrinda Backwater Cruise as a spacious and well-equipped floating home that lets you explore the natural surroundings and villages adjacent to the backwaters, in close proximity. The cruise operates within the biggest stretch of backwaters that runs from Alleppey through Kochi islands. Onboard the Oberoi Vrinda you can enjoy leisure amenities such as eating, bar, parlor, Ayurveda massage, relaxing deck, and luxury cabins.
The motorboat is comprised of eight luxurious cabins with huge beds as well as amenities like a 42-inch LCD TV DVD player, fast Wi-Fi as well as an electronic safety deposit, and many more. Dinners are usually held on the upper deck at the back of the ship. Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the deck and enjoy the views. Itinerary Details
When you arrive in Cochin, you will be given an assisted transfer to Vembanad Lake where you will embark on the Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda which begins sailing through the main waterway along Lake Vembanad and then enters the Alleppey canal. After boarding the cruise, you will be able to meet local fishermen to get to know their way of life and the fish species that are important to the region, such as Karimeen which has also been referred to as the pearl place.
The motorboat goes through the Kerala waterways for about 4 hours. Then, at sunset, it comes back to Vembanad Lake. Vembanad Lake jetty.
Enjoy the stunning scenery of the surrounding area. Then, in the evening take in a breathtaking Kathakali dance show, retelling stories that come from Ramayana and Mahabharata which are two of the most famous Hindu epics. This Oberoi Vrinda Backwater Cruiser is docked to the jetty at Vembanad Lake.

Breakfast in the morning after breakfast You can choose to enjoy the local attractions and then visit St. Mary's Church, 100 years Old Temple, and Snake boatyard. In the second alternative, you could opt for a Rice boat excursion, a sculpture of Lord Buddha, and the traditional Keralite residence.
Then, in the late afternoon, the Motor Boat Oberoi Vrinda returns to Lake Vembanad. Then, in the evening you can enjoy the performance of Mohiniyattam which is a traditional dance form that is native to Kerala. Also, it is known as "Dance of the Enchantress".

The Oberoi Vrinda begins sailing towards the north and south of the primary waterway of Lake Vembanad Lake, finally moving south, passing through Pallathurathy.
