4 Days – Jodhpur and Jaisalmer Tour

On your first day, arrive at Jodhpur, meet your representative, and get transferred to your hotel. After check-in, your hotel tour will start.

Sightseeing will start from Meherangarh fort, you can enjoy the view over Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City because of the blue-painted houses where the Brahmans (priest’s caste) lived.

Then you will visit all the local tourist attractions in Jodhpur. The day includes a visit to local sightseeing of the old city and shopping areas in Jodhpur Rest of the day is spent exploring. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

In the morning after breakfast drive to the desert city Jaisalmer. You will reach in 4 -5 hours.

After check-in hotel, you have time to explore Jaisalmer yourself. This magical feeling remains when you approach the center and are dropped off with its dozens of towers at the gates of the old castle town.

You will sleep in style in Jaisalmer in an authentic, golden haveli in the old town.

After morning breakfast your Jaisalmer city sightseeing will start. Till evening you will visit Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Gadsisar Sagar Lake, Tazia Tower in the daytime.

In the evening you will make a trip to the sand dunes around Jaisalmer. By jeep, you drive into the desert and then switch to a camel. You leave the civilized world behind and enjoy the desolate, vast expanse of sand.

Sitting on a sand dune you can see the sun, which will discolor the world around you from yellow to fiery orange to black. Look especially good up: you see stars here that we never see in the other city India.

At the end of the day, you will be brought back by jeep and you will sleep again in your haveli.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, You can continue your journey to famous places like Kuldhara Haunted places in Jaisalmer for some sightseeing.

In the evening your tour ends here.

You can go two ways from Jaisalmer. If you want to see more of Rajasthan, then choose Fort and clay huts. Through Bikaner and Mandawa you travel through a less-visited part of the desert province of Rajasthan.

You can also take the night train from Jaisalmer back to Jaipur or Delhi in the afternoon.

From Jaipur, you can travel further with the new itinerary from Jaipur to Agra, where you visit the Taj Mahal.
