The hill station of Matheran is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, Matheran is situated at the foot of the Sahayadri Mountains, which have 38 peaks. As vehicles aren't allowed to enter the area, it is one of the unpolluted hill stations near Mumbai.
Some of the most popular places to visit in Matheran are Vantage Point, Panorama Point, Sunset Point, Heart Point, Louisa Point, Echo Point, Monkey Point, Chattrapati Shivaji's Fort, and the Mall Road. Besides these, another popular attraction in Matheran is the Toy Train.

Detailed Itinerary
Tusk Travel representatives will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to Matheran, a small hill station in the Western Ghats range at an altitude of about 800 m (2,625 feet).
Upon arrival, check into your resort. The evening is free for leisure. Spend the night at the resort.
Drive from Mumbai to Matheran.
Explore Matheran's natural beauty after breakfast at the resort. Matheran Hill's offers some of the most breathtaking views of the surroundings, and you can also see mountain peaks of Khandala and Bhimashankar from here.
Then, see the Mumbai city heart at the Heart Points, the Louisa Points, Charlotte Lakes, Irshalgad Fort, Chanderi Fort, Dodhani Waterfalls, Little Chowk Point, Ambarnath Shiv Temple, Porcupine Point, and the Neral-Matheran Toy Train.
In the evening, transfer to the resort for an overnight stay.
Full day sightseeing in Matheran.
After a delicious breakfast at the resort, our driver will drive you to your hotel or to any other desired location in Mumbai for your onward journey.
Tour ends in Mumbai.
