Detailed Itinerary
The tour begins in the morning at 9:30 AM with pickup from your hotel in Jaisalmer. During the full-day Jaisalmer city tour, you'll visit the well-preserved Jaisalmer fort and explore the maze of narrow streets with its ornately decorated Havelis of yellow sandstone. Rich merchants built the Havelis at a time when Caravan routes from the Middle East used to visit the city. These intricate mansions have stone carvings and latticework, and two of them are Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon-Ki-Haveli.
You will then visit Gadisar Lake, followed by lunch at a local restaurant
Visit Sam Sand Dunes during the evening, just before sunset, for a view of a completely sand-free desert environment. You will be able to enjoy a camel ride along this stretch of sweeping sand dunes, as well as take memorable pictures with the setting sun in the background.
Following an exciting day, we will drop you back at your hotel in Jaisalmer.
