UP-Bird-and-Nature-Festival

A birding festival is organized every year to draw attention to the amazing avifauna that exists in Uttar Pradesh, but you are not just going to see birds when you explore the forests in Uttar Pradesh. There are a number of other wildlife species that will be highlighted as well, including the tiger, rhinoceros, elephant, sloth bear, barasingha, leopard, jackal, crocodile, and a host of reptiles and amphibians.

A joint effort has been made by both the Uttar Pradesh Forest and Eco-Tourism Department and the festival is being held in the state.

About the UP Bird & Nature festival.

UP Bird and Nature Festival 2023 will take place at Vijay Sagar Bird Sanctuary from February 1 to 3, 2023. In the Bundelkhand region of India, the Vijay Sagar Bird Sanctuary is located in the Mahoba district. It is a refuge for both resident and migratory birds, and there are a large number of migratory birds that are expected to visit the region in the winter season.

A major attraction is the Vijay Sagar Lake, which was built by Vijay Pal Chandela from the Chandela dynasty during the 11th century.

The festival attracts bird experts from around the world annually, not only from India but from all around the world. It is a great opportunity for nature conservators, wildlife enthusiasts, and photography enthusiasts to explore what they love most – nature and birds.

As part of this year’s festival, there will be a number of experts taking part, leading the discussion, leading panel discussions, displaying photographs, launching books, and, of course, taking field excursions, with a focus on ‘Ecotourism for nature conservation’. The experience of birding with a professional is a very different kind of excitement and fun.
