Sri Lanka is ready to welcome foreign tourist strict Covid-19 rules

The outbreak of Covid-19 has changed the whole world. Every sector commencing from tourism to all are facing a serious loss. Everything was shut for 10 months. After 10 months the country has decided to welcome the tourists. They are trying to revive the tourism sector that has faced huge losses. Although the country noticed less loss during this pandemic session still is following to take certain measures.

Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has taken some strict steps to make the holidays safer and better for the people. It performed a trial run by welcoming 1700 Ukrainian tourists in the last month. Even the England cricket team is in this country to play two series.

If you are willing to come to this country you have to maintain certain protocols strictly. You have to stay in the 55 hotels that are designated for tourists. You have to conduct a Covid test that is to be done just 4 days before arriving in this country. You have to take another test upon arrival in this country.

On the other part, you have to make an insurance of US $12 that will cover up to USD 50000. In case you are Covid positive you have to stay isolated in the hotel room. The same rule is applicable only in the case of asymptomatic patients. The hotel authorities will afterward take the patients to the hospital.

Moreover, people who are in Britain for more than two weeks will not be allowed to come to Srilanka. The country has also banned all the flights that will come from Britain. The country appears to be very strict in its rules and protocols. They will not compromise with the situation in any way. This is a good initiative at the same time.
