Today is a big day for India’s train system. Prime Minister Narendra Modi started nine new Vande Bharat trains. This is part of his plan to make train travel better for everyone in India.
List of New Vande Bharat Trains:
- Udaipur to Jaipur
- Tirunelveli to Chennai (via Madurai)
- Hyderabad to Bengaluru
- Vijayawada to Chennai (stops at Renigunta)
- Patna to Howrah
- Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram
- Rourkela to Puri (via Bhubaneswar)
- Ranchi to Howrah
- Jamnagar to Ahmedabad

Prime Minister Modi is very happy about these new trains. They are modern and give travellers a good experience. These trains show the growth and future of India.
Growing Vande Bharat Service
Right now, 25 Vande Bharat trains help people travel in India. With these nine new ones, soon they will reach all parts of the country. They are good for quick trips and help tourism and business.
India’s Big Achievements
Modi talked about India’s successes like Chandrayaan 3 and hosting the G20. He praised the Narishakti Vandan Act for helping women. Now, many women work at train stations.
Making Trains Better
Prime Minister Modi talked about the big changes in the train system. The money for trains this year is a lot more than in 2014. There are plans for more train tracks, electricity, and new routes.
Upgrading Train Stations
Stations will also get upgrades. There will be new footbridges, elevators, and moving stairs. Over 500 stations will get a makeover and be called Amrit Bharat Stations.

The Prime Minister is glad that train stations are having special days. For example, the Coimbatore station turned 150 years old. He wants more of these celebrations.
