The Kartarpur Corridor between India and Pakistan will reopen from November 17 ahead of Gurpurab, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Kartarpur Gurdwara Evacuee Trust Property Board said Covid-19 protocols, which require RT-PCR Test Reports, Face Masks, and Vaccine Proof, will also apply for the Kartarpur Corridor pilgrimage.
As per the SOPs, the negative RT-PCR test report and vaccination proof will be required for pilgrims traveling through the Kartarpur Sahib corridor. He explained further that no Covid-19 tests would be conducted at the Gurdwara upon arrival.
Guidelines for Kartarpur Sahib corridor :
It is now mandatory to have a negative RT-PCR report and a Covid-19 vaccination certificate to travel. It has been made mandatory for devotees to undergo a temperature check and wear masks, as well as follow the protocol for social distance.
The Kartarpur Sahib corridor has been closed since March 2020 because of the Covid outbreak, which occurred three days before Guru Nanak Dev’s birth anniversary.
All passengers with symptoms of COVID-19 should isolate immediately.

What is Gurupurab and when is it celebrated?
Gurpurab, also known as Guru Nanak Jayanti, is the most important festival for followers of Sikhism. It is celebrated in honor of Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh Guru.
Gurupurab celebrated on Kartik Poornima, according to the Hindu calendar, is observed on the fifteenth lunar day of Kartik month. The festival will take place on November 19.
