Buddha Air introduces Twice-Weekly direct Flights from Kathmandu to Varanasi

Buddha Air now operates twice a week direct flights between Varanasi and Kathmandu. After COVID, flights were resumed, and will fly every Monday and Friday.

The first flight arrived at the Varanasi office of the Ministry of Tourism representative welcoming them with roses and anagavastra upon their arrival. Due to this flight, It will be easier for pilgrims to go to Baba Vishwanath or Pashupatinath to worship.

Until now, one had to travel via Delhi to Varanasi or Kathmandu. Buddha Airlines started flight service on May 23. Direct flights will allow people from Kashi and Purvanchal to travel to Nepal.

Buddha Airlines announced Wednesday that it will begin flight service between Kashi and Kathmandu. The airline’s schedule has been also released.

The flight of Buddha Airlines will depart from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, at 7:15 pm and arrive at Varanasi Airport at 7:55 pm.

The same aircraft will depart Varanasi at 8.45 PM and arrive at Kathmandu Airport at 9.25 pm. Officials from the airlines have confirmed that ticket bookings are now open.

The starting fare will start at Rs 6000 The flexible fare allows for fare increases or decreases.

To commute via Delhi, a total of 12,000. Fares were required. Direct flights will save you about half of the cost. Flights will now be operated on Mondays and Fridays, respectively. Aryama Sanyal, Airport Director, has confirmed that the Civil Aviation Port Authority has given permission for the aircraft to be operated.
