Air India announces India-Sri Lanka flight schedule

Under the Air Bubble Arrangements, Air India’s flagship carrier will resume its flight operations with Sri Lanka starting in November 2021.

As a result of the air bubble pact, both Indian and Sri Lankan airlines are now permitted to operate flights between the two countries.

The airline has announced that it will start operating direct flights between Colombo, Sri Lanka and Delhi, Chennai

Air India will operate two weekly flights from Delhi and three weekly flights from Chennai to Colombo. A detailed schedule of Air India’s flights between India and the United States is provided below.

Passengers who can travel under Tourism protocol.

Passengers in this category must be fully vaccinated. In order to travel to Sri Lanka on a tourist visa, travelers need a travel authorization via www.eta.gov.lk following the instructions stated on helloagain (srilanka.travel).

Below is a list of passengers who can travel under the Tourism protocol.

  • Tourists from India
  • Sri Lankan Citizens
  • Including foreign nationals with residence visas
  • and dual citizens
