The itinerary is for a 9 Days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking.
Throughout the trip, they will have opportunities to enjoy the changing landscapes and views of the Annapurna Himalayas.
Upon arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Tusk Travel Teams will be there to greet you and take you to your hotel in Thamel. Dinner is included in the hotel.
You will have time to do some last-minute shopping or relax at a nice café. In the evening, your guide will give you a briefing on what to expect during the trek.
Today, you will embark on a 6-7 hour road trip to the Pokhara Valley and its famous Phewa Tal lake.
After checking in to your hotel near the lake, you will get to admire the changing countryside with raging rivers, valleys, terraced farmlands, and surrounding hills.
In the evening, you can relax by the lake while watching the sunset over the mountains.
Today, you will drive from Pokhara to Nayapul via Lumle Village. The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek begins at Nayapul and after a 30-minute trek, you will arrive at Birethanti where you will need to show your tourist permit at the checkpoint.
You will then follow the Bhurungdi Khola river to reach Ulleri where you will spend the night.
Your trek begins today with a journey to the Magar village of Banthanti. Along the way, you will have stunning views of Mt. Machapuchare, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South.
After passing through a lush rhododendron forest, you will arrive at the peaceful and friendly village of Ghorepani with grand views of several massive peaks, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna.
Poon Hill is known for its breathtaking views of the Annapurna Ranges at sunrise and sunset.
You will have an early start to catch the sunrise and the changing colors gleaming off the mountains.
After returning to Ghorepani for breakfast, you will head to Tadapani via a scenic trail through Deurali.
Today, you will take the trail through oak and rhododendron forests with wildflowers along the way.
You will arrive at the mainly Gurung village of Ghandruk with stunning views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machapuchare, Annapurna III, and Hiunchuli.
Ghandruk is the 2nd largest Gurung village in Nepal with a rich culture, museum, Buddhist monastery, and unique architecture with slate tiled roofs and stone walls.
You will wake up to views of the Annapurna Himalayas and then walk down a steep stone steps trail to Dhampus Phedi/Ghatte Khola.
You will then drive to Pokhara where you will spend the night near Phewa Tal Lake.
On Day 8, the plan is to drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara, a journey that is expected to take 6-7 hours. During this road trip, it is recommended to sit on the left side of the bus to get the best views of the surroundings, including the river, gorges, mountains, small settlements, and terraced farming land.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, travelers will be taken to their hotel where they can relax or do some last-minute shopping in Thamel. Thamel is a bustling neighborhood with many bakeries, restaurants, and bars, so there is plenty to keep visitors occupied.
On the final day, Day 9, a representative from the Sherpa Expedition Teams will transfer the travelers to the international airport, ensuring that they arrive at least three hours before their scheduled departure.
As the travelers fly home, they will surely reflect on the amazing experience they had in Nepal and start planning their next adventure to this beautiful country.
