This 5-days Nepal Classic Tour is one of the most famous and enjoyable tours in this country. This tour begins with a few tourist attraction places in the valley of Kathmandu and a full night stay in the hotel of Nagarkot. It is the perfect destination to view sunrise on the top of Mount Everest. There are several world heritage sites both in Kathmandu and Nagarkot among which some are as old as 2500 years. Strange culture and engrossing history of this place are waiting for its tourist people. This classic tour is all about visiting seven World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu and experiencing the breathtaking landscape, the ancient architecture, and leisurely life pace of those hill towns.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Kathmandu Arrival

As you will reach at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our agent will welcome you with a very pleasing attitude. Our guide will escort you to the hotel in downtown by an air-conditioned private vehicle. The rest of the day will be left for you to relax and walk around.

A “Welcome Dinner” will be arranged for you at a wonderful traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will have delicious Nepalese food.

Day 2 :Kathmandu Sightseeing

On the 2nd day, tour begins with a marvelous saunter around the magnificent Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the urban, social, and religious focal point of the town. There is a complex built by the ancient Malla Kings of Nepal between the 12th and 18th centuries and it offers various fascinating things to view such as the Gaddi Baithak the statue of King Pratap Malla, Taleju Temple, Nautalle Durbar, Kal Bhairab (God of Destruction), Coronation Nasal Chowk, the Jagnnath Temple, and the Big Bell, Big Drum etc. Later, you will explore the Kathmandu’s most mysterious and ancient religious place called Swayambhunath and it is also known as “Monkey Temple”. It is located at a distance of 2 km west of Kathmandu city. If the climate is clear, you can view a line of Himalayan Ranges. From the top of the hill, you will get excellent sight over Kathmandu valley.

Afterward, proceed towards the next destination named as Pashupatinath which is one of the world’s most spiritual sites of devotion for the God Shiva. Everyone called this temple as “the Temple of Living Beings”. Lots of people from all over India and Nepal visit this temple to offer worship to Pashupati. The practice of worshipping begins in the early morning. Shivratri celebration is held in this place every year which means “night of Lord Shiva” and thousands of folks attend this celebration.

Return back to Kathmandu after the sightseeing and have a full night stay in the hotel there.

You can also select to have an Everest Mountain Flight early in the morning. You can witness fantastic Himalayan peaks, glaciers, and lakes from the airplane. This activity is optional.

Day 3 :Kathmandu – Nagarkot

The 3rd day is the day of travelling from Kathmandu to Nagarkot. Initially, you will proceed to Patan which 4 km away from Kathmandu city. It is recognized for the crowding Patan Durbar Square which is admired as the excellent group of palaces and temples with lovely carvings in entire Nepal. Around the square, it grabs the attention of various travelers with the souvenirs and treasures in the different stores. The square houses three chief courtyards or chowks such as the Main Keshab Narayan Chowk, Sundari Chowk, a central Mul Chowk.

After exploring Patan Durbar Square, you will be taken to the place called Nagarkot which is located 34 km north-east of Kathmandu. Nagarkot is one of the most attractive sightseeing places in Nepal. This is the perfect tourist site to relish the awe-inspiring views of Mount Everest with an altitude of 2,715 meters and smother high peaks above 7500 m on the Himalaya Range.

Stay in the hotel of Nagarkot for a full night.

Day 4 :Nagarkot – Bhaktapur – Kathmandu

Rise and shine to grab the special moment to view the wonderful sunrise over Mount Everest from the place Nagarkot and then return to your hotel to take your delicious breakfast.

After having the remarkable time spent in Nagarkot, you will move to the next sister city of Kathmandu and Patan – Bhaktapur which is one among the three prehistoric city-states in the valley of Kathmandu. It is an excellent place to visit traditional Nepalese architecture and to find the huge achievements of crafts and arts made by popular Nepal’s Malla Dynasty (1201 – 1769). This place houses three distinctive styles square like Dattatreya Square, Durbar Square, and Taumadhi Square. Bhaktapur is also known as the Town of the Worshippers.

By the afternoon, you will be having a contrast trip to the huge Buddhist stupa called Boudhnath. It is the largest stupa in Kathmandu Valley with a height of about 131 ft and it is one of the most vital Buddhist stupas in the entire world. This stupa is built in a different way as all-seeing white, blue, and red eyes are coloured on all four sides of the stupa which is very similar to Swayambhunath and it is encircled by hundreds of small images of Buddha, fluttering prayer flags, and prayer wheels.

By the evening after sightseeing, get back to the hotel of Kathmandu for an overnight stay.

Day 5 :Kathmandu departure

This morning, travel by car to Bandhavgarh (250 km / 7 hours) Bandhavgarh – Famous for its white tigers, it is a National Park with a very nice fort in the center. With its hills, forests, and mountains, the park serves as a home for many animals – Rhesus Macaques, Jungle Cats, Hyenas, Nilgai, etc. The park has different environments and contains more than 22 species of animals and more than 250 bird species. After arriving in Bandhavgarh, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day free. Sleep in the hotel.
