Detailed Itinerary
Your journey begins with a private pickup from your Delhi location. Drive along the Yamuna Expressway to reach Agra in about 3–4 hours.
On arrival, visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. Explore its breathtaking marble architecture, floral inlay work, and serene gardens while learning about the romantic story behind its creation.
After lunch, continue to the Agra Fort, a remarkable Mughal structure overlooking the Taj Mahal. Walk through its palaces, courtyards, and halls designed by Emperor Akbar and Shah Jahan.
Proceed to the Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah Tomb), known for its delicate pietra dura marble work—the design inspiration for the Taj Mahal.
Check in at your Agra hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the red-sandstone Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. Explore the Diwan-i-Aam, Buland Darwaza, Jodha Bai Palace, and Salim Chishti Dargah.
Learn why this grand city was eventually abandoned due to water scarcity, yet remains one of the most intact examples of Mughal architecture.
