Detailed Itinerary
Your tour begins with a pick-up from your Mumbai hotel and transfer to the iconic Gateway of India. From here, board a ferry for a scenic hour-long boat ride across the Arabian Sea to Elephanta Island.
On arrival, explore the island’s network of seven caves, with the main cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Admire the grand Trimurti statue showcasing Shiva as creator, preserver, and destroyer. The cave walls display detailed carvings depicting episodes from Shiva’s mythology.
After sightseeing, stroll through courtyards and shrines before boarding the return boat. Enjoy sea views as you sail back toward Mumbai, often arriving at sunset for a beautiful finish to the day.

- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The balance is payable 15 days before the tour or upon arrival in India, if agreed in advance.
- Payments must be made using the official bank or secure payment details provided by Tusk Travel.
- International transfer, card-processing and currency-conversion charges are payable by the traveller.
- 60 days or more before arrival: 10% cancellation charge.
- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.
- 29–15 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
- 14–8 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Issued flight, train, permit and special-event bookings may be non-refundable.
