Tour Overview

New Delhi, the capital of India, needs no introduction. Red Fort is the main attraction for tourists. This former residence of the Mughal Empire currently serves as the Parliament where the power resides. This tour takes you through the various religious locations in Delhi that include its iconic temples.

The mesmerizing sight of these majestic temples will leave you spellbound. You will explore several beautiful temples on this full-day private tour. Some of the major attractions being ISKON Temple, Lotus Temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Chattarpur Temple, the Birla Mandir, and Akshardham Temple. Visit these temples to help you understand as well as experience the spiritual aspect of Delhi.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :01 Day (08 Hours)

You will be picked from your specified residence, or hotel in New Delhi. The tour will commence when you will meet your tour guide who will brief you about today’s trip.

The first spiritual place that you are going to visit on your tour is Lotus Temple. It is a flower-shaped temple that is recognized as a Bahai House of Worship. This temple is also one of the major landmarks and tourist destinations in Delhi city.

Next, you will visit the famous Radha Krishna temple named “ISKON Temple”. It is a Vaishnava place of worship that got built-in 1998. It is also called the Hare Krishna hills and Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir of New Delhi.

Later, we will drive to another beautiful, and popular religious destination “Chattarpur Temple”. This place is devoted to Goddess Katyayani. It is a beautiful temple built in 1970 in Mehrauli, New Delhi.

New Delhi is a secular city where you will find several Gurudwaras too. One of the popular Gurudwaras that you will visit here is Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. It the most widely visited place by Sikh people. It is associated with the 8thSikh guru, as Guru Har Krishan. There is a beautiful pool called 'Sarovar' that accentuates the overall beauty of the place.

After darshan in the Gurudwara, there will be a lunch break of 45 minutes at the restaurant of your preference. After lunch, you will visit another notable temple as Akshardham Temple. This temple is counted among the largest sacred complexes throughout the country. This scenic and grand spiritual theme captivates everyone.

The last temple that you will visit on this tour is Birla Mandir. This royal temple was constructed in 1939, and it fully devoted to Lord Laxminarayan.

On the completion of your tour, you will be dropped back to the place of your pick up.
