Well Organized Trip
We appreciated our travel designer (Ovijit) was able to customize our trip to add in additional stops and tailor our hotels to what we were looking for.
This 8 Days Gangtok, Lachung and Pelling Tour brings together three of Sikkim’s most popular travel regions in one itinerary. The journey begins in Gangtok, continues to Lachung for the Yumthang Valley excursion, returns to Gangtok for Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, and then crosses through Ravangla to Pelling for West Sikkim sightseeing.
The route suits travellers searching for a Gangtok Lachung Pelling tour, 8 days Sikkim itinerary or a Yumthang Valley and Tsomgo Lake package. It combines North Sikkim mountain scenery, East Sikkim’s protected high-altitude route and Pelling’s monasteries, heritage sites and viewpoints.
Lachung and Yumthang Valley are in North Sikkim, where travel depends on permits, weather, road conditions and local administrative instructions. Access can change at short notice.
Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir also require the relevant permits. Nathula Pass is not included as a guaranteed part of this itinerary and should only be considered separately for eligible travellers when permitted.
Day 4 and Day 5 involve consecutive mountain and high-altitude travel, so travellers should expect longer road hours and a slower pace than on normal sightseeing days.
Pelling monastery, heritage and outdoor attraction access can vary with weather, maintenance and local opening conditions.
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and meet your driver for the journey to Gangtok.
