Combine royal heritage, historic forts, small-town Rajasthan and wildlife on this 7 Days Udaipur Chittorgarh Bundi Ranthambore Tour. Begin in Udaipur with lakes and palaces, continue to Chittorgarh for one of Rajasthan's most important hill forts, then travel to Bundi before reaching Ranthambore.
This itinerary is well suited to travellers who want more than the usual Rajasthan city circuit. Udaipur provides royal lakeside heritage, Chittorgarh adds dramatic Rajput history, Bundi offers palaces, stepwells and a quieter old-town atmosphere, while Ranthambore brings the chance to experience one of India's best-known tiger reserves.
The route moves steadily from southern Rajasthan towards the wildlife landscapes of eastern Rajasthan without unnecessary backtracking. It offers a strong mix of architecture, history, local culture and nature in one practical seven-day journey.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Udaipur, where you will be met at the airport or railway station and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and settle into Rajasthan's famous lake city.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an orientation walk or drive through the historic centre. Udaipur developed as the capital of Mewar and is known for palaces, temples, havelis and lakes framed by the Aravalli Hills.
If time permits, explore local market streets or enjoy the evening atmosphere around Lake Pichola before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour with the City Palace, one of Rajasthan's largest royal complexes.
Explore its courtyards, balconies, museum rooms and decorated interiors while enjoying views over Lake Pichola and the surrounding old city.
Continue to the Jagdish Temple and later visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, a historic garden known for fountains, marble pavilions and landscaped grounds.
Spend some time in Udaipur's traditional markets and craft areas, known for miniature paintings, textiles, silverwork and decorative handicrafts.
In the late afternoon or early evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, subject to operating conditions.

After breakfast, check out from your Udaipur hotel and drive towards Chittorgarh, one of Rajasthan's most historically important fortified cities.
On arrival, visit Chittorgarh Fort, a vast hilltop complex associated with the history of Mewar and generations of Rajput rulers.
Explore important landmarks such as Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh, Rana Kumbha Palace and other palaces, temples and reservoirs spread across the fortified plateau.
After sightseeing, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, leave Chittorgarh and continue by road towards Bundi, a smaller Rajasthan town known for its palace, stepwells and old blue-painted neighbourhoods.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and begin exploring the historic centre. Visit Garh Palace, set beneath Taragarh Fort and known for its courtyards, gateways and surviving wall paintings.
Continue through the old town and visit one of Bundi's famous stepwells, which reflect the region's traditional water-management architecture.
Spend the evening walking through the compact market streets and residential lanes before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, check out from your Bundi hotel and drive towards Ranthambore.
The journey passes through the rural landscapes of eastern Rajasthan before reaching the area around Ranthambore National Park.
On arrival, check in at your wildlife resort and enjoy some time to relax. Depending on your confirmed safari schedule, the afternoon can be kept at leisure or used for nearby sightseeing.
Prepare for the following day's safari and enjoy the quieter surroundings around the national park.
Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Today is dedicated to the wildlife experience at Ranthambore National Park. Depending on safari permits and the confirmed programme, take a morning or afternoon shared jeep or canter safari inside the reserve.
The park's landscape includes dry forest, lakes, rocky ridges and open grassland. Ranthambore is best known for Bengal tigers, although sightings are always dependent on wildlife movement and cannot be guaranteed.
Other possible sightings include sambar deer, spotted deer, nilgai, wild boar, langurs, crocodiles and numerous bird species.
After the safari, return to your resort and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Enjoy breakfast at the resort and check out according to your departure schedule.
Begin the road journey from Ranthambore to Jaipur, travelling through the countryside of eastern Rajasthan.
On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to Jaipur Airport, railway station or another agreed location for your onward journey.
Your 7-day Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bundi and Ranthambore tour concludes after combining Rajasthan's lakeside palaces, historic forts, small-town heritage and a wildlife safari experience.
