This 7 Days Dibang Valley Tour is designed for travellers who want to explore one of the most remote and scenic parts of eastern Arunachal Pradesh. Starting from Dibrugarh, the route travels to Roing, climbs towards Mayodia Pass, and continues deeper into the Dibang Valley to Anini.
The itinerary targets searches such as 7 days Dibang Valley tour, Roing Anini tour from Dibrugarh, Mayodia Pass itinerary and Anini Arunachal Pradesh tour package. It combines long mountain drives, river valleys, high-elevation forest landscapes and quieter settlements far from the standard Tawang circuit.
Anini is the main reason to choose this itinerary over a shorter Roing and Mayodia tour. The extra road journey takes travellers deeper into Dibang Valley, where the scenery becomes more remote and the tourism infrastructure more limited.
This is a weather-sensitive road itinerary. Heavy rain, landslides, fog and winter conditions can affect access around Mayodia and the road towards Anini. The programme should remain flexible, and local road advice should always take priority over a fixed sightseeing schedule.
Required Arunachal Pradesh entry permits should be arranged before travel. Travellers should carry identification and copies of permit documents throughout the journey.
This route can be combined with additional time in Roing, eastern Arunachal destinations or other Arunachal Pradesh tour packages.
Arrive at Dibrugarh Airport or railway station and meet your driver for the road journey towards Roing.
The route gradually leaves the Assam plains and enters the river-valley landscapes of eastern Arunachal Pradesh. Keep your entry permit and identification easily accessible.
On arrival in Roing, check in at your hotel and rest after the journey.
If daylight remains, enjoy a short local orientation around the town or a nearby riverside area rather than adding extensive sightseeing.
Overnight stay in Roing.
After an early breakfast, leave Roing and begin the mountain journey towards Mayodia Pass and onward to Anini.
The road climbs steadily from lower valley terrain into cooler forest and mountain landscapes. Stop at suitable viewpoints where conditions allow.
Mayodia is highly weather-sensitive. Fog, rain, landslides or winter conditions can reduce visibility or affect road access, so the exact stop pattern should be decided locally.
Continue deeper into Dibang Valley towards Anini. This is a long road day, and travellers should expect a slower journey rather than planning additional sightseeing.
On arrival in Anini, check in at your hotel or guesthouse and rest.
Overnight stay in Anini.
Spend a full day exploring Anini and the surrounding Dibang Valley landscape.
Visit selected viewpoints, river areas and nearby settlements according to road, weather and local access conditions.
The appeal of Anini lies in its remote mountain setting, forested slopes and quieter local environment rather than a long list of conventional monuments.
Where locally appropriate, spend time learning about the region’s indigenous communities and everyday life. Ask before photographing residents or private homes.
Keep the day flexible so that local guides and drivers can choose the most suitable areas based on current road conditions.
Overnight stay in Anini.
Use the second full day in Anini for a slower exploration of the Dibang Valley.
Drive towards suitable nearby scenic areas, forest landscapes or village zones depending on current road access and local recommendations.
Rather than covering excessive distance, focus on the natural setting, river valleys and opportunities to understand local life in this remote part of Arunachal Pradesh.
Wildlife sightings should not be guaranteed. Any birds or animals seen during the journey depend on habitat, season, weather and chance.
Return to Anini by evening and rest before the return journey.
Overnight stay in Anini.
After an early breakfast, check out from Anini and begin the long return journey towards Roing.
Retrace the mountain road through the Dibang Valley and Mayodia region.
Weather can change quickly on this sector, so rest stops and photography breaks should be taken only where safe and practical.
On arrival in Roing, check in at your hotel and relax after the road journey.
Overnight stay in Roing.
After the long mountain transfer, spend a more relaxed day exploring Roing and nearby Lower Dibang Valley attractions.
Visit selected local heritage, river or nature areas according to current access and your interests.
The day can also be used for a slower local cultural experience or additional rest after the Anini road journey.
Avoid overloading the programme with distant excursions, as the following morning includes the return drive towards Dibrugarh.
Overnight stay in Roing.
After breakfast, check out from Roing and begin the return drive towards Dibrugarh.
Travel back from eastern Arunachal Pradesh towards the Assam plains, allowing enough time for road and traffic conditions.
Schedule your onward flight or train with a comfortable buffer rather than relying on a tight same-day connection.
On arrival in Dibrugarh, transfer to the airport or railway station for departure.
Your 7 Days Dibang Valley, Roing and Anini Tour concludes after exploring one of the most remote and scenic road circuits in eastern Arunachal Pradesh.
Tour concludes in Dibrugarh.
