Detailed Itinerary

Arrive at Mumbai Airport or railway station, where our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Mumbai is the main starting point for this Maharashtra Jyotirlinga Yatra and is well connected with cities across India and abroad.

After check-in, relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short orientation drive through South Mumbai or visit the Gateway of India, Marine Drive or Colaba area. These visits are optional and can be adjusted according to your travel schedule.

Arrival in Mumbai for Maharashtra 3 Jyotirlinga with Shirdi tour

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga. The route gradually leaves Mumbai’s urban areas and enters the green landscapes of the Sahyadri hills and Western Ghats.

Bhimashankar Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is located in a peaceful forested area. The temple is known for its traditional Nagara-style architecture, devotional atmosphere and scenic surroundings, especially during the monsoon and winter months.

After darshan and prayers, continue towards Pune. The drive offers views of hilly terrain, village roads and the landscapes of western Maharashtra. On arrival in Pune, check in at the hotel and relax.

Mumbai to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga and Pune transfer

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Trimbakeshwar, located near Nashik. The route passes through the changing landscapes of Maharashtra, with open countryside, mountain views and agricultural regions along the way.

On arrival, visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the most important Shiva temples in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is especially significant because of its association with the origin of the Godavari River.

The Jyotirlinga at Trimbakeshwar is unique in form and is traditionally associated with the divine trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Pilgrims can spend time in darshan and offer prayers according to temple timings and local procedures.

Later, continue to Nashik and check in at the hotel. Nashik is an important Hindu pilgrimage city, known for its ghats, temples and spiritual links with the Ramayana. Overnight stay in Nashik.

Pune to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga and Nashik tour

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive from Nashik to Shirdi. Before leaving Nashik, pilgrims may visit Panchavati, Ramkund, Kalaram Temple or the Godavari river ghats, depending on travel timing and personal interest.

Continue towards Shirdi, one of India’s most visited spiritual destinations. Shirdi is closely associated with Sai Baba, whose message of faith, compassion, patience and service attracts devotees from all faiths.

On arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed for Sai Baba Temple darshan. The temple complex includes Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai, Chavadi and other places connected with Sai Baba’s life and teachings.

Nashik to Shirdi Sai Baba Temple darshan and evening Aarti

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, located near Verul village, close to Ellora Caves. This route takes pilgrims from Shirdi towards the historic temple and cave heritage region of Maharashtra.

Visit Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, the twelfth Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. The temple is known for its red-stone architecture, carved walls and peaceful devotional atmosphere. It is one of the most important religious places to visit near Aurangabad.

Later, explore the nearby Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring ancient rock-cut Buddhist, Hindu and Jain monuments. The Kailasa Temple, carved from a single rock, is one of the most remarkable examples of rock-cut architecture in India.

After sightseeing, continue to Aurangabad and check in at the hotel. The evening is free for rest after a spiritually and culturally rich day. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and Ellora Caves tour from Shirdi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for your onward journey to Mumbai. The transfer can be planned by domestic flight from Aurangabad or by road, depending on your preferred travel option, departure time and final package arrangement.

For travellers choosing a flight, transfer to Aurangabad Airport for the onward flight to Mumbai. For road travel, the drive to Mumbai is longer and should be planned with an early start, meal stops and sufficient travel time.
