Tour Overview
This 6 Days Guwahati, Kaziranga, Tezpur and Nameri Tour combines wildlife, heritage and river-valley landscapes in one practical Assam itinerary. Starting from Guwahati, the journey first reaches Kaziranga National Park for safari experiences before continuing to Tezpur and Nameri National Park.
The itinerary targets searches such as Kaziranga Tezpur Nameri tour, 6 days Assam itinerary, Tezpur Nameri package and Assam wildlife and heritage tour. Unlike a shorter Kaziranga–Nameri circuit, this route gives Tezpur its own sightseeing day and creates a more balanced eastern Assam journey.
Kaziranga safari operations depend on park opening, permits, weather and forest rules. Wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed.
Tezpur offers a useful cultural and heritage break between the two national parks, with publicly accessible historic, riverside and viewpoint areas included according to timing.
Nameri activities depend on local guide availability, current park rules, weather and river conditions. Forest walks or river activities should only be included when officially permitted.
This route is particularly suitable for travellers who want more variety than a wildlife-only itinerary but do not want to add Meghalaya.

Detailed Itinerary
Meet your driver in Guwahati and begin the road journey east towards Kaziranga National Park.
Travel through the Assam plains, passing towns, villages and agricultural landscapes.
On arrival, check in at your hotel or wildlife lodge and rest.
Confirm the following day’s safari timing and permit arrangements according to current park operations.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Begin the day with a scheduled safari inside Kaziranga National Park.
Explore the assigned range by authorised safari vehicle according to permits and forest rules.
The park’s grassland, wetland and woodland habitats support rhinoceros, wild buffalo, elephants, deer and numerous bird species, but no specific sighting can be guaranteed.
Return to your lodge for meals and rest between activities.
If a second safari is included, it will depend on permit availability and current park operations.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
After breakfast, check out from Kaziranga and drive towards Tezpur.
The shorter road sector allows this day to include sightseeing instead of being only a transfer.
On arrival, visit selected publicly accessible heritage, riverside or viewpoint areas according to current timing.
Use the afternoon to explore Tezpur at a relaxed pace and enjoy its Brahmaputra-side setting.
Check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Tezpur.
After breakfast, leave Tezpur and continue towards Nameri National Park.
Travel into the forested foothill landscape north of the Brahmaputra valley.
On arrival, check in at your lodge or nature camp.
Depending on timing, take a short orientation walk around the lodge area or simply relax.
Confirm the following day’s forest activity with the local guide according to current park rules.
Overnight stay near Nameri National Park.
Spend the day exploring the natural surroundings of Nameri National Park according to current access rules.
Join an authorised forest walk or birding activity with a local guide where permitted.
Nameri is known for forest habitat and birdlife, but wildlife sightings remain unpredictable and should never be promised.
If a river activity is locally operating, include it only when water level, weather and safety conditions are suitable.
Return to your lodge by evening and relax.
Overnight stay near Nameri National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the return journey towards Guwahati.
Travel through the Assam plains with practical meal and rest stops along the way.
Keep a comfortable time buffer before your onward flight or train.
Transfer to Guwahati Airport or railway station for departure.
