Tour Overview

Badrinath is always considered to be a sacred place in India. Many people across India and other countries come to this religious place.

A mysterious boulder was found in Badrinath and it was believed to be the impressions of Seshnaag. Alakananda River is said to be the main attraction of this place.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Delhi – Haridwar

Once you arrive at the Delhi station or Delhi Airport you can catch a car and move towards Haridwar. The distance from Delhi to Haridwar is 230 km and it takes 6 hours to cover the distance.

You will get a number of hotels in Haridwar but prior booking is mandatory. You should come to the Har-Ki-Pauri in the evening for arati. Then go back to the hotel and have your dinner.

Day 2 :Haridwar - Rudraprayag

By arriving in Haridwar get your bag ready for the trip to Rudraprayag. This town is famous for religious temples.

The distance is 165km and it will take about 5 hours to come to Rudraprayag from Haridwar. You have to drive straight to Joshimath and book a hotel.

Day 3 :Rudraprayag - Badrinath

The next day wakes up early in the morning and prepares yourself for the trip to Badrinath. It will also take 6 hours to come to this place from Rudraprayag. The distance is estimated to be about 165 km.

In the morning come to the Narsimha temple and Shankaracharya Math. It will be a wonderful experience. During the evening don’t miss the arati. Then you can go back to the hotel.

Day 4 :Badrinath - Rudraprayag

This is the fourth day when you can go to Rudraprayag. The distance from Badrinath to Rudraprayag is 165 km and it will take 6 hours time. If you come during the morning you can take birth in the Taptkundu and have a visit of Shri Badrivishal.

There are ample sightseeing spots like Vyas Gufa, Mana, etc. You can later drive to Rudraprayag. Mana village is mainly inhabited by the Indo-Mongolian tribe. It is considered to be the last village of India before Tibet. It will be a memorable trip.

Day 5 :Rudraprayag - Haridwar

This is a distance of 160 km. It takes about 5 hours to come to Haridwar from Rudraprayag. During this time, you can try some local sightseeing in Rishikesh.

It will be best if you have a glimpse of Laxman Jhola, Gita Kutir, and similar other places. Reach Haridwar and stay overnight.

Day 6 :Haridwar - Delhi

You can start early in the morning from Haridwar to reach Delhi. During this period you can try some local sightseeing in Haridwar.

It will be a pleasant journey from Haridwar to Delhi. You can either be dropped at the Railway station or in the Delhi Airport. It will depend upon you.
