Tour Overview
Yamunotri is a small town located amidst the beauty of nature. Further, The Yamunotri shrine is the most important thing in the town and the best pilgrimage place for the Hindus. Likewise, taking the route to the Yamunotri shrine is a hard-working and tedious journey.
Either you can go up trekking the hills or even make use of services like baskets and ponies. People find palanquins carrying the passengers from Hanuman Chatti to Yamunotri Shrine. The shrine is located only at the top of the hills.

Itinerary Details
The trip starts from the Delhi Airport or the Delhi Railway Station. You will be picked up by the representative and drive all the way to Haridwar.
You will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri for the divine Ganga Aarti. After this blissful experience, return to the hotel, have dinner, and overnight stay.
The drive takes approx. 7 hours (220 km). Travel via Dehradun and Mussoorie to reach Barkot.
En route visit the famous Kempty Falls. Continue driving to Barkot and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Enjoy early breakfast at the hotel and drive to Hanuman Chatti. From here take a local jeep to Janki Chatti to reduce the trek distance.
Start your trek to Yamunotri. You may hire a horse or doli (own expense). After Yamunotri Darshan, return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
On the 4th day, drive back to Haridwar. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
After local sightseeing in Haridwar, drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the Airport or Railway Station as per your convenience.

- All Gov't taxes are included.
- International airfare, visa fees and travel insurance.
- Flights, trains or road journeys not mentioned in the itinerary.
- Meals, entrance fees, permits, camera charges and guides unless included.
- Personal expenses, tips and medical or emergency evacuation costs.
- Expenses caused by weather, cancellations, illness, roadblocks or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Hotels, transport and activities are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- Hotel check-in and check-out times apply as per individual hotel policy.
- Child rates, extra beds and complimentary stays depend on the confirmed hotel’s policy.
- Sightseeing may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, local restrictions or monument closures.
- The final written quotation will confirm the exact inclusions, exclusions and services.
- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The balance is payable 15 days before the tour or upon arrival in India, if agreed in advance.
- Payments must be made using the official bank or secure payment details provided by Tusk Travel.
- International transfer, card-processing and currency-conversion charges are payable by the traveller.
- 60 days or more before arrival: 10% cancellation charge.
- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.
- 29–15 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
- 14–8 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Issued flight, train, permit and special-event bookings may be non-refundable.
