Starting from Bhopal, the route moves through waterfalls, viewpoints and forest roads before continuing to the Satpura landscape for a dedicated safari day.
The itinerary is ideal for travellers who want more than a standard hill-station break. Pachmarhi offers nature, walking and scenic viewpoints, while Satpura introduces a quieter wildlife setting with a very different pace and environment. The combination works well for couples, families and nature-focused travellers visiting Madhya Pradesh.

Detailed Itinerary
Meet your driver in Bhopal and begin the road journey to Pachmarhi, set in the Satpura hills.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and take time to rest after the drive. If daylight and energy levels permit, enjoy a short local orientation or visit a nearby viewpoint.
The evening is free to enjoy Pachmarhi's cooler climate and relaxed hill-town atmosphere.
Overnight stay in Pachmarhi.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Pachmarhi's forest, waterfall and viewpoint circuit. The exact selection of sites can be adjusted according to weather, road conditions and local forest access rules.
Travel through wooded sections of the Satpura hills and visit selected waterfalls, rocky viewpoints and natural attractions. Some areas may require walking, so comfortable footwear and drinking water are recommended.
The day is designed around nature rather than monument-hopping, allowing enough time to enjoy the landscape and stop for photographs without rushing.

After breakfast, check out from your Pachmarhi hotel and drive towards Madhai, one of the well-known gateways for exploring the Satpura landscape.
On arrival, check in at your wildlife lodge or hotel and spend the rest of the day at a relaxed pace. Depending on local arrangements, you may enjoy the riverfront, forest surroundings or a short nature activity.
Keep the evening light so you are ready for the scheduled safari programme the next day.

Today is dedicated to the wildlife experience around Satpura National Park. Join the scheduled safari according to your confirmed permit and the zone assigned by the forest department.
The Satpura landscape includes forest, grassland, hills and water bodies, creating varied habitats for wildlife and birdlife. Your naturalist or forest guide will help interpret tracks, calls, vegetation and animal behaviour during the safari.
Wildlife sightings, including sightings of large mammals, depend entirely on natural movement and cannot be guaranteed. Safari routes and timings are also controlled by park authorities.
Return to the lodge after the safari and spend the remaining time enjoying the quieter forest surroundings.
Overnight stay in Madhai.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the return drive to Bhopal.
Depending on your onward flight or train timing, the transfer can be planned with suitable breaks along the way.
On arrival in Bhopal, transfer to the airport, railway station, hotel or another agreed departure point.
