Tour Overview
This 5 Days Pachmarhi, Narmadapuram and Tawa Tour combines riverfront scenery, reservoir landscapes and the green hill country of Pachmarhi. Starting from Bhopal, the route first reaches Narmadapuram, continues to the Tawa Reservoir area and then climbs into the Satpura hills before ending at Pipariya.
The itinerary is well suited to travellers who prefer a slower nature-focused route instead of a fort-and-temple circuit. It mixes the Narmada region, open water landscapes and Pachmarhi's forests, waterfalls and viewpoints while keeping daily travel distances manageable.
Narmadapuram and Tawa create a gentle beginning to the trip before the landscape becomes hillier around Pachmarhi. The Tawa section is particularly useful for travellers who enjoy quieter scenery and open natural settings, while Pachmarhi provides the most active sightseeing with viewpoints, waterfalls and forest areas.
Water levels, waterfall flow and access to some nature sites can change with the season. Sightseeing should therefore be adjusted according to weather, road conditions and local regulations. The tour can also be combined with Satpura, Madhai or Bhopal for a longer Central India journey.

Detailed Itinerary
Meet your driver in Bhopal and begin the road journey to Narmadapuram.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring selected local sights and riverfront areas along the Narmada.
The first day is kept relaxed so you can enjoy the town's quieter pace before moving deeper into the nature-focused section of the itinerary.
Overnight stay in Narmadapuram.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Tawa Reservoir, surrounded by the broader Satpura landscape.
On arrival, enjoy the reservoir views and relaxed natural surroundings. Depending on local operations and weather, additional nature-based activities can be considered.
This day is intentionally slower, giving you time to appreciate the open landscape rather than moving through a long list of monuments.
Overnight stay in the Tawa area.
After breakfast, leave Tawa and continue through the Satpura region towards Pachmarhi.
As the road climbs into the hills, the landscape changes from open reservoir country to forested slopes and cooler hill-station surroundings.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxed local visit or viewpoint if time permits.
Overnight stay in Pachmarhi.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Pachmarhi's main scenic attractions. The sightseeing can include selected waterfalls, viewpoints, forest areas and local heritage stops depending on road and weather conditions.
Some natural attractions require short walks over uneven paths, so comfortable footwear is useful. The exact sequence is best kept flexible because access to certain sites may change with forest regulations.
Later in the day, enjoy one of the hill viewpoints before returning to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Pachmarhi.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the downhill drive from Pachmarhi to Pipariya.
If your departure time allows, include a short final stop in or around Pachmarhi before leaving the hills.
On arrival in Pipariya, transfer to the railway station or another agreed departure point for your onward journey.
Your 5-day Pachmarhi, Narmadapuram and Tawa tour concludes after a relaxed journey through the Narmada region, reservoir landscapes and the Satpura hills.

- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.

- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
