The route gradually leaves the Assam plains and moves into the hill landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh. Keep your permits and identification easily accessible for entry checks.

If daylight remains, take a short local walk rather than adding extensive sightseeing.

After breakfast, leave Aalo and begin the scenic journey towards Mechuka.
