This 5 Days Mandu, Maheshwar, Omkareshwar and Indore Tour combines the historic architecture of Mandu, the riverside heritage of Maheshwar, the sacred island temple town of Omkareshwar and the urban gateway of Indore.
It is a well-balanced itinerary for travellers who want to combine culture, architecture, spirituality and the Narmada River landscape in one short journey through Madhya Pradesh.
Mandu forms the historical core of the trip, with its palaces, mosques, tombs and hilltop setting. Maheshwar introduces a more intimate riverside atmosphere with temples, ghats and traditional handloom culture, while Omkareshwar adds a strong spiritual dimension through one of central India's most important pilgrimage centres.
The itinerary can be customised according to hotel category, preferred sightseeing pace and arrival or departure timings. It can also be extended to Ujjain, Dhar or Bhopal for a longer Madhya Pradesh circuit.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Indore and meet your representative for transfer to the hotel.
Depending on arrival time, begin a relaxed city tour covering selected heritage landmarks, market areas or local attractions before the onward journey begins the following day.
The evening is free to explore Indore's lively food and market culture or simply rest after arrival.
Overnight stay in Indore.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Mandu, the historic hilltop city known for palace ruins, mosques, tombs, lakes and dramatic views.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and begin sightseeing with selected monuments from the Royal Enclave or nearby clusters, depending on your arrival time.
Spend the evening enjoying Mandu's quieter atmosphere and scenic plateau setting.
Overnight stay in Mandu.
After breakfast, complete remaining sightseeing in Mandu, visiting major palaces, mosques, tombs, pavilions and viewpoints according to your interests.
Later, drive to Maheshwar, set on the banks of the Narmada River.
On arrival, check in and explore the fort area, riverside ghats and temples. The old town is compact and rewarding to explore on foot, especially towards evening.
Overnight stay in Maheshwar.
After breakfast, continue exploring Maheshwar if needed, with time for the fort, ghats, temples and local handloom traditions.
Later, drive to Omkareshwar, a major pilgrimage centre associated with the Narmada River.
On arrival, visit the main temple area and experience the island setting, ghats and river views. The programme can be adjusted according to temple timings and crowd levels.
Overnight stay in Omkareshwar.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy any remaining temple or riverside sightseeing in Omkareshwar according to your departure schedule.
Later, drive back to Indore and transfer to the airport, railway station or another agreed departure point.
