This 5 Days Jabalpur, Bhedaghat and Kanha Wildlife Tour combines the river landscapes around Jabalpur with a dedicated wildlife experience in Kanha National Park. The itinerary starts with city sightseeing, includes the Marble Rocks and Dhuandhar Falls at Bhedaghat, and then moves into the forest for two nights near Kanha.
It is a good choice for travellers who want both sightseeing and safari in one short Madhya Pradesh trip. The first half focuses on the Narmada River landscape and local attractions, while the second half slows down for wildlife viewing and the quieter atmosphere around Kanha.
This route is more varied than a safari-only itinerary because Bhedaghat adds a scenic and geological highlight before the wildlife section begins. In Kanha, safari timing is controlled by the forest department and depends on permit availability, assigned zones and seasonal park rules.
Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Tigers and other animals move freely through a large natural habitat, so every safari is different. Advance permit booking is recommended during popular travel months. The itinerary can also be extended to Bandhavgarh, Pench or Pachmarhi.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Jabalpur by flight, train or road. Meet your representative and transfer to the hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, begin a relaxed city sightseeing programme covering selected local landmarks, viewpoints or cultural attractions.
The first day is intentionally kept light so you can settle in comfortably before the full Bhedaghat excursion on Day 2.
Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
After breakfast, drive to Bhedaghat, one of the best-known natural attractions near Jabalpur.
Visit Dhuandhar Falls, where the Narmada River drops through a rocky channel. Water volume and spray can vary considerably by season.
Continue to the Marble Rocks, where pale cliffs rise along the river. Boat operations depend on water levels, weather and local safety restrictions, so any boat ride should be treated as subject to conditions.
Return to Jabalpur after sightseeing and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
After breakfast, check out and begin the drive to Kanha National Park.
Travel through rural central Madhya Pradesh before reaching your wildlife lodge or hotel near the park.
After check-in, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Keeping the afternoon relaxed is useful because safari departures often begin early the following morning.
Overnight stay near Kanha National Park.
Today is dedicated to wildlife viewing in Kanha. Join the scheduled safari according to your confirmed permit, entry gate and assigned zone.
With an authorised guide, explore forest and grassland habitats while looking for deer, gaur, monkeys, birdlife and signs of predators. The guide will also help interpret tracks, calls and animal behaviour.
If both morning and afternoon safari permits are confirmed, return to the lodge between drives for breakfast, lunch and rest before heading back into the park.
Tiger sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed. The safari experience depends entirely on natural wildlife movement and park conditions.
Overnight stay near Kanha National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the return drive to Jabalpur.
The transfer can be timed according to your onward train or flight, with suitable breaks planned during the road journey.
On arrival in Jabalpur, transfer to the airport, railway station or another agreed departure point.
Your 5-day Jabalpur, Bhedaghat and Kanha wildlife tour concludes after combining the Narmada River landscape with a focused forest safari experience in Kanha.
