Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Jabalpur and meet your driver for the road journey to Bandhavgarh National Park.
On arrival, check in at your wildlife lodge or hotel near the park and take some time to relax after the transfer.
The rest of the day is kept light so you are well rested for the early safari schedule the following morning.
Overnight stay near Bandhavgarh National Park.
Start early for your scheduled wildlife safari in Bandhavgarh. The entry gate, zone and route will depend on the permit issued by the forest department.
Explore the park with an authorised guide while looking for deer, langurs, birdlife and signs of predators. The guide will help interpret tracks, alarm calls, habitat changes and animal movement.
If both morning and afternoon permits are confirmed, return to the lodge between drives for breakfast, lunch and rest before heading back into the park.
Tiger sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed. The forest experience depends entirely on natural wildlife movement and park conditions.
Overnight stay near Bandhavgarh National Park.
After breakfast, check out and begin the drive to Amarkantak, a forested pilgrimage town known for its sacred associations and natural setting.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and begin a relaxed introduction to the town's temple areas, ghats or nearby viewpoints depending on available time.
The change from Bandhavgarh's safari landscape to Amarkantak's quieter spiritual setting gives this itinerary a very different rhythm from a standard wildlife tour.
Overnight stay in Amarkantak.
After breakfast, continue exploring Amarkantak with selected natural and sacred attractions, including waterfall areas and forested viewpoints according to weather and local access conditions.
Water flow varies by season, so the appearance of the falls can be very different between the monsoon, post-monsoon and dry months.
Later, check out and drive to Jabalpur. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax after the road journey.
Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
After breakfast, drive to Bhedaghat for a final scenic excursion before departure.
Visit Dhuandhar Falls, where the Narmada River narrows and drops through a rocky channel. Continue to the Marble Rocks area and enjoy the river landscape.
Boat operations at Bhedaghat depend on water levels, weather and local safety regulations, so any boat ride is subject to conditions on the day.
Later, return to Jabalpur and transfer to the airport, railway station or another agreed departure point.
