This 4 Days Guwahati and Pobitora Wildlife Tour is designed for travellers who want a short Assam wildlife experience without travelling as far as Kaziranga. Using Guwahati as the base, the itinerary includes a day excursion to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary along with city sightseeing, the Brahmaputra riverfront and Kamakhya Temple.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati Airport or railway station and meet your driver for the start of the short Assam wildlife journey.
Transfer to your hotel and complete check-in.
Depending on arrival time, include a relaxed Brahmaputra riverfront visit or another suitable public attraction.
Keep the remainder of the day light before the Pobitora excursion the next morning.
Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast, leave Guwahati for a day excursion to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary.
Join the scheduled safari or another authorised activity according to current sanctuary rules and permit availability.
Pobitora’s grasslands and wetlands support rhinoceros, birds and other wildlife, but no particular animal sighting can be guaranteed.
Safari timing, routes and operations can change with weather, seasonal opening and local forest-department instructions.
Return to Guwahati after the wildlife experience and relax at the hotel.

Spend the day exploring selected attractions in Guwahati.
