Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and meet your driver for the journey to Gangtok.
Travel through the foothills and gradually enter the mountain roads leading into Sikkim.
Road conditions and travel time can vary with traffic, weather and any temporary hill-road restrictions.
On arrival in Gangtok, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Spend the day exploring Gangtok and selected nearby attractions.
Visit suitable viewpoints, monasteries, museums, gardens or cultural attractions according to the final sightseeing programme and current opening times.
At active monasteries and religious institutions, enter only publicly accessible areas and follow local guidance regarding photography and conduct.
Keep the sightseeing pace comfortable and avoid making the day overly rushed before the high-altitude excursion scheduled for the following morning.
Return to your hotel by evening and prepare the required documents for the next day.

Start early from Gangtok for the high-altitude excursion towards Tsomgo Lake.
Travel on the permitted route after the required documents and permits have been cleared by the relevant authorities.
Spend time at Tsomgo Lake according to weather, road and local operating conditions, then continue towards Baba Mandir if the route remains open.
Snowfall, landslides, poor visibility or administrative restrictions may require the route to be shortened or changed on the day.
Nathula Pass is not guaranteed within this programme. It can only be considered separately for travellers who meet the current eligibility requirements and receive the necessary permit.
Return to Gangtok by evening and rest after the mountain excursion.

After breakfast, check out from your Gangtok hotel and begin the return journey towards Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
The mountain-road transfer can be affected by traffic, weather and road conditions, so keep a comfortable buffer before your onward flight or train.
Stop for practical breaks along the way where required.
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, continue with your onward journey.
