Discover royal Rajasthan and one of India's most sacred pilgrimage towns on this 4 Days Delhi Jaipur Pushkar Tour. Travel from Delhi to Jaipur for forts, palaces and colourful bazaars before continuing to Pushkar, known for its sacred lake, temples and relaxed old-town atmosphere.
This short Rajasthan itinerary is well suited to travellers who want a compact cultural route from Delhi without long daily drives. Jaipur provides the grand architecture of the Rajput era, while Pushkar adds a spiritual and small-town experience before the return to Delhi.
The journey combines two very different destinations in a practical four-day route. Jaipur is one of India's most important heritage cities, with monumental forts, royal residences and historic markets, while Pushkar is centred around its sacred lake and longstanding pilgrimage traditions.
The itinerary can be customised according to your hotel category, arrival and departure schedule, sightseeing interests and onward plans. It can also be extended with Ajmer, Udaipur, Jodhpur or Agra as part of a longer Rajasthan tour.

Detailed Itinerary
Begin your journey with a morning pickup from your hotel, airport or another agreed location in New Delhi and drive towards Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. Depending on your arrival time, begin with an orientation drive through the Pink City, where historic gates, rose-coloured buildings and traditional bazaars create Jaipur's distinctive old-city character.
Stop near Hawa Mahal, one of Jaipur's most recognisable monuments, and enjoy some time around the nearby market streets.
In the evening, explore Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar, where shops specialise in jewellery, textiles, block-printed fabrics, handicrafts and traditional Rajasthani products.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Start with Amber Fort, the impressive hilltop fortress associated with Jaipur's earlier Rajput rulers.
Explore the fort's gateways, courtyards, audience halls and royal apartments, then return towards the city with a photo stop near Jal Mahal, the palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
Continue to the City Palace, a large royal complex of courtyards, museums and historic buildings in the centre of Jaipur.
Nearby, visit Jantar Mantar, the eighteenth-century astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
Later, explore the old-city market area and see Hawa Mahal from the street before returning to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, check out from your Jaipur hotel and drive towards Pushkar, one of Rajasthan's most important pilgrimage towns.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and begin exploring the compact old town on foot. Visit Pushkar Lake, the spiritual centre of the town, where a series of ghats surround the water and pilgrims gather for religious rituals.
Continue to the famous Brahma Temple, one of the best-known temples dedicated to Lord Brahma. Visitors should follow local temple rules and dress respectfully when entering religious areas.
Later, walk through Pushkar's market streets, which are lined with small shops, cafés, textiles, jewellery, handicrafts and religious items. The pedestrian-friendly old centre has a noticeably different atmosphere from Jaipur's larger urban setting.
In the evening, return to the lake area and enjoy the quieter atmosphere around the ghats before heading back to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Pushkar.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and, depending on the departure schedule, spend some final time exploring Pushkar or relaxing near the old town.
Later, check out and begin the road journey back to New Delhi. The drive provides another opportunity to see Rajasthan's changing rural landscapes before re-entering the National Capital Region.
On arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel, airport or another agreed location for your onward journey.
Your 4-day Delhi, Jaipur and Pushkar journey concludes after combining Jaipur's royal architecture with the sacred lake, temples and relaxed atmosphere of Pushkar.
Tour concludes in New Delhi.
