This 3 Days Ujjain, Dewas and Indore Tour is a compact spiritual and cultural journey through western Madhya Pradesh. The itinerary begins in Indore, continues to Ujjain for Mahakaleshwar darshan and a full temple circuit, then returns via Dewas before ending in Indore.
It is especially suitable for pilgrims, families and first-time visitors who want to experience Ujjain's sacred heritage without planning a longer multi-city route. The journey combines temple visits, old-city atmosphere, riverfront spirituality and a short stop in Dewas.
Ujjain is the main focus of the itinerary, with enough time for Mahakaleshwar and other important temples rather than a rushed same-day excursion. The second day allows a more complete understanding of the city's religious landscape and living pilgrimage traditions.
The tour can be customised according to darshan timings, hotel category and your arrival or departure schedule. It can also be extended to Omkareshwar, Maheshwar or Mandu for a longer Madhya Pradesh itinerary.

Detailed Itinerary
Meet your driver in Indore and begin the journey to Ujjain, one of India's oldest and most important pilgrimage cities.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and proceed for Mahakaleshwar darshan. Temple access, queue times and special darshan arrangements can vary, so the programme should remain flexible around local conditions.
If time permits, visit nearby sacred sites or explore the old city before returning to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Ujjain.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Ujjain in greater depth.
Visit important temples, sacred tanks, ghats and religious landmarks according to local timings and your interests. The day can be planned around both major pilgrimage sites and quieter areas of the old city.
Your guide can explain Ujjain's importance in Hindu pilgrimage traditions, astronomy, mythology and the broader cultural history of the Malwa region.
In the evening, return to the hotel after completing the temple and heritage circuit.
Overnight stay in Ujjain.
After breakfast, check out from your Ujjain hotel and begin the return journey towards Indore with a stop in Dewas.
Explore selected local landmarks or temple sites in Dewas according to your interests and available time.
Later, continue to Indore and transfer to the airport, railway station, hotel or another agreed departure point.
