This 3 Days Pachmarhi Nature and Waterfalls Tour is a short hill-station itinerary designed for travellers who want to experience the forests, viewpoints, waterfalls and relaxed atmosphere of Pachmarhi. The journey begins and ends at Pipariya, making it convenient for travellers arriving by train.
Instead of trying to fit every attraction into a rushed sightseeing day, this itinerary spreads the main experiences across two full sightseeing periods. You get time for local landmarks, waterfall areas, forest scenery, Dhoopgarh sunset and Handi Khoh while still keeping the trip comfortable.
Pachmarhi is different from the fort and temple circuits elsewhere in Madhya Pradesh. Its appeal comes from the Satpura landscape, wooded roads, rock formations, viewpoints and seasonal waterfalls. Some sites may require locally permitted vehicles or regulated access depending on current forest rules.
Waterfall volume and trail conditions change with the season, particularly during and after the monsoon. The sightseeing order can therefore be adjusted according to weather, access conditions and local advice. The tour can also be extended to Satpura, Madhai, Bhopal or Bhimbetka for a longer nature and heritage journey.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Pipariya and meet your driver for the scenic road journey into the Satpura hills to Pachmarhi.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, begin a light local sightseeing programme covering selected nearby attractions, viewpoints or heritage sites according to your arrival time.
The first day is kept comfortable so you can enjoy the hill-station atmosphere without rushing immediately into the longer waterfall and forest circuit.
Overnight stay in Pachmarhi.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Pachmarhi's forest and waterfall attractions. The exact combination of sites can be selected according to seasonal water levels, road access and local forest regulations.
Travel through wooded sections of the Satpura landscape and visit selected waterfall areas and natural viewpoints. Some locations may involve walking over uneven paths, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
In the late afternoon, continue towards Dhoopgarh, the best-known high viewpoint around Pachmarhi. If the weather is clear, stay for sunset and broad views across the surrounding hills.
Return to the hotel after sunset.
Overnight stay in Pachmarhi.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Handi Khoh, a dramatic forested gorge and one of Pachmarhi's most accessible scenic viewpoints.
Depending on your train timing, include a short final local stop or enjoy some free time before beginning the drive back to Pipariya.
On arrival in Pipariya, transfer to the railway station or another agreed departure point for your onward journey.

- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.

- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
