Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Chennai, which is the capital of the southern state of Tamil Nadu and the fourth largest city in India. After breakfast, begin sightseeing of Chennai city. Explore Kapaleeswarar Temple, Astalakshimi Temple, Vivekananda House, Valluvar Kottam, Marina Beach, MGR Square, ANNA Square, Children’s Park, Snake Park.
Evening transfer to Mahabalipuram - "the City of the Seven Pagodas", located 60 km south of Chennai on the Coromandel Coast. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Arrival in Chennai & sightseeing tour.
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of Mahabalipuram including Shore Temple, the gigantic monumental frieze “Descent of the Ganges”, and visit Panch Rathas (Five Rathas), monolithic temples carved out of single rocks.
The beauty of its ancient monuments and serene coastal surroundings has earned UNESCO World Heritage Site status since 1984. Return back to hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Mahabalipuram sightseeing.
After breakfast, checkout from hotel. Later transfer to Chennai Railway Station / Airport to board the flight/train for your onward journey carrying pleasant memories of your trip.
Tour ends with sweet memories.
